question for finishers of coin quest II

i am looking for help in figuring out the ending of coin quest II. it is now asking for a code phrase. where am i looking for this phrase? and what is the little block of letters and numbers that showed up with the final cache log?

Look at the map that you now have all the pieces from, in the lower left corner is a decoding ‘key’ to give you the secret phrase.

The little block of letters on the 16th piece is the key to solving a code that you can find on the map. Look at the two thingies next to and above the numbers. They look like something else on the map that you may have thought were mere decoration before.

Don’t bother solving the obvious “codes” on the map, except for fun. They won’t help you.
