Question on Placing my first Cache

I have this really neat little park that I want to maybe put my first cache in. But I have no idea how to find out who to contact for the park. The town is pretty small, like about 300 people or less I would guess. The businesses consist of 2 bars…and that is about it. They do have a post office, lol.
So how might I find out who I have to contact for permission? Do i go to the county?
Any help would be great!

A city park is considered a public area. Place the cache and submit it for approval. If it is a controlled area, the Reviewer will notify you. There are some counties that have restrictions in parks. They are listed in the “Hiding a Cache” section of these Forums.

If a Reviewer would like to comment or correct, that would help here.

Yup! Stacie is resurrected and out caching again. It only took 3 1/2 days for someone to snag it. Now, to watch for their first placement…

I know where MN Junction is…. unfortunately it’s too far to run to between naptime and school pick up :)……

I guess there will be some more in the area when we go back to Horicon for a visit! Yeah!

Well I talked to my mother today, and she informed me the Lion’s Club owns the park I was looking at putting a cache on. So I will keep an eye out for a spot.

Ooooh, THAT park. Yup, Lions club owns it. Tried that one 3 years ago. Wasn’t sure who to contact for permission. Your mom might know. Place one there! It is closer than the other little town near Minn. Junction!
