The last list of 2016 is posted and we are in the last two months of the year.

The LCG competition has been  fierce and it looks like it may go down to the wire to crown the winner.

Luckyastrodiver and MTCLMBR  are neck and neck.

what adventures will the next two months hold for these folks as they drive for the line?

it will be fun reading about it

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Woo hoo!  I barely made the list, but I’m on there!  I guess I’d better find a few more so that I can stay there.

We are in the final two weeks of 2016 and there are still lots of lonely caches out there.

with the new snow, are you up for the challenge?

We can guarantee that two of our caches on the Lonely list are in place and findable… or at least they were as of a couple of weeks ago.  These would be GC3QMQD (The Schools) and GC3QVXJ (The Churches).  You can sit in a warm vehicle to get all the information you need for the finals of the caches, and both finals are winter-friendly and easily accessible.  No icy back roads travel for these either.  However, we did disable our third hide on the Lonely list, GC2TN5E (Logging a Multi), because we didn’t get out there this fall to check on the waypoints, and they would definitely be unfindable with all of the snow on the ground now.

While you may not want to travel all the way to Sandland for just a few Lonely points, many of our other hides are easily accessbile and winter-friendly, so they are good ones to go for at this time of year, as are some others in central Wisconsin if you want to find some more caches on any trip to the area.

the 2016 Total Page on the Scoreboard DOES NOT INCLUDE December lonely points.

we are working to get this corrected so the page shows all of December included in the TOTAL for 2016.
