RAMA cult

I decided to see what info I could find about this cult, and stumbled onto this webpage.

After reading a few things, it looks like the website is written by the cult itself.

Well I for one think that this is an honorable group that has been much maligned. And my opinion has nothing to do with the fact that I live nearby, and often fly out of the airport in a flightpath that necessarily goes directly over their property.

O.K this is not an honorable group.. They beat the kids.. trust me I know I went to school with the kids when they were allowed to attend Shawano public schools up until about 1988..

They have purchase about 8 million dollars in property in Shawano over the last 3-5 years. Drive around Shawano up and down main street there are store fronts that sit empty because SIST leaves the buildings unoccupied. These building are blighted and should be razed so new business can occupy them. If SIST bought these buildings and actually used them I wouldn’t have a problem with that. They do have a few business in Shawano and I don’t have a problem with that. I just choose not to do business with them.

They have gas stations that rarely have gas but hey they give you free soda and popcorn!!!! They are also constantly late in paying there taxes for hotels,ciggerette’s and soda. Almost to the point were its a game!! Were the city will pull there licenses then two day’s later they pay there taxes and go back to business as normal.

I’m wasn’t going to mention the fact that I’ve seen KorpL’s jeep on a monthly basis at there Best Western Hotel when the local swingers club from Oshkosh comes to town.. IF you were open for business would you really want to be known for letting a swingers group using your hotel…I know of a group that found adult toys in the swing pool area the week after this group was gone..So they must not be good at housekeeping either…

Let’s face it a group that does not follow conventional teaching’s are always gonna be looked upon in a different light. (I.E Jim Jones)

This group is slowing choking the economy of Shawano by buying one business at a time and choosing to let them sit empty.. AND THAT IS NOT GOOD!!!

NOW BACK FURTHER INTO MY CAVE… AS NOT TO DISTURB SIST TO MUCH BECAUSE I WOULD HATE BE ON THERE LIST…..

Wow, what a touchy situation. It is difficult to say who is right. The inflammatory rhetoric makes it more difficult for the reader to form a good objective opinion. I am happy I am not involved and displeased that the situation exists. I am sure that there are a lot of innocent people being hurt, including many who may just be passing through town (geocachers).

While I think everyone has a right to be and do whatever they choose in our country, and the cache really isn’t on the property of this organization from what I can tell, I would be hesitant to seek this cache at this time. If the FBI is involved, there is a possibility that my looking for the cache could arouse suspicion with a G-Man! They scare me! LOL.

But really, I just wouldn’t want to be questioned by the Feds. I don’t like being questioned by the police or property owners either though. My uncle was an FBI agent for many years (he retired some time ago), and from his stories they can be tough inquisitors! Who knows what secrets they might drag out of me!

(I do hope the comments about children being beaten aren’t true — that makes me very sad)

This is actually an interesting cache to have on a watchlist….I’m just glad it’s not me out there looking for it.

Too bad about the muggling, I planned on checking it out tomorrow. Lighthouse Nut, if you check these boards I’d be happy to drop a container and keep this one going. Whether they are right or wrong is irrelevant to me, but I’m not wrong to hunt a cache on public lands…
