We live in Madison, but we’ll be in Milwaukee multiple times over the summer for Brewers games. Some of the games fall on weekends, so we’ll probably extend those stays and have some extra time we can spend Geocaching. I’d like to get some recommendations for particularly clever hides or interesting locations that we should check out. In general we will probably stay close to Miller Park, but we’d be willing to go farther for the right cache. Our first game is this Saturday, so please post your “must see” caches in the area. Thanks!

You can start here with our cache….. GC1AC61
There are four regular caches (including ours) within walking distance, four earth caches with in walking distance and one multi cache. By walking distance I do mean from the parking lot and you will not be out of sight from of Miller Park.
We ended up doing 11 caches in the area around Miller Park. Our next trip will certainly need to take us farther away, so I’m still looking for recommendations if you’ve got them.

The Military History series is interesting. Not necessarily from the caching point of view, but the history side.
It takes you around a lot of area.
Also, there are lots of puzzles which are relatively easy. Some are show up and collect some info.
I have to highly recommend Dr. Doolittle’s Award Series Caches (GC1MW7M & GC1NXRH)
GEOJACC and I had a blast figuring out the puzzles and as much fun hunting the caches this past Sat. 😀
Well worth the trip to Germantown (25 cache day)
A ton of work went into this series on both the puzzles and hides ❗

One of my favorites was the Wizard of Oz series by the Goldiediggers. This would take the better part of a day or maybe a bit more depending on how good or lucky you are.
