Note that the Wizard has done his spring maintenance on the Yellow Brick Road…and check out that new version of the Dorothy Gale cache at the trailhead in Oconto!
I’ve noticed a number of new caches that have popped up around the Antigo area…will have to get over that way soon.
And Sweetlife’s sodoku series in northern Oconto County is a must-do…it takes cachers to a number of very scenic areas…and is a lot of fun:)Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
05/16/2015 at 6:38 pm #2039844I made a run at joining the comma club (1,000 finds) today. I started the day at 998 and attempted two in Menasha while there for a conference. After finding one, I went for a multi for the milestone but DNF’ed as there was construction right on top of GZ for stage one. So my find count as of right now stands at 999. I’m looking for recommendations in the Green Bay area for a cache to hit the milestone on.

Just up the road in Brussels is “A Hole in One” by Brussels2. 71% favorite points.
05/16/2015 at 10:30 pm #2039850I liked the Pirates series in Marinette-Menominee
The best sig is no sig.
10/13/2015 at 4:04 pm #2043520I’d highly recommend Sweetlife’s geoart star series in northern Oconto County…especially now. The fall color is at its peak and that area has some outstanding color. No micros in the woods…mosquitoes are gone…what more could you ask for:)

10/13/2015 at 11:41 pm #2043538I must be one of the kewl people, because I’ve done the Star – intentional capitalization. I would also like to mention that I almost cleaned up High Cliff today, and some pretty neat containers were put out for the Spring Campout by WalkingAdventure, and one that I had to DNF brought me to a beautiful view of Lake Winnebago.

03/27/2016 at 7:07 pm #2048261The Wizard of OC caches are the best series in this area as my personal opinion. I would do them again in a heartbeat, no questions asked. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are another favorite in the Berlin/Ripon area.
Town of Menasha holds some mind boggling caches from our near and dear WGA Prez. Definitely a must if you are in the area.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

That is a great series, too, especially if you are looking for some high D/Ts.
