Found a great place in the northwoods today,

Going to De Pere Friday for a high school football game (and a few caches too). Any good places to eat at before I go to the game, preferably on De Pere’s west side?

I have already tasted that banana pie, it was fabulous and yummy. And i wish i could eat it once again.
Ed’s Mainstreet in Argonne, great place to eat and freshen up after doing Eagle Source! Food was great and decently priced, we were all impressed.
If you are caching in the Green Bay/DePere area, make a point to stop at Texas Joe’s BBQ. N44 29.892, W088 02.504. Texas Joe’s does dry rub ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Very reasonable prices, and deliciously addicting food. Although there is a picnic table outside, they do mostly take out.
If you’re going north up 41/141, try Katies’ Subs in Pound…they are EXCELLENT!

I echo Rod’s sentiment. I am here at Katie’s Subs eating while logging my finds of the new Pound caches. Yum.
I have enjoyed the food of Katie’s Subs many times, they are simply awesome.. 🙂
I was out today with a friend scouting a path to the Longtail caches, and we stumbled into, rather out of, a place called Shoot’s:

Just off the County B exit of 41The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

Most of the Longtail caches are not winter-friendly…but I’d bet that Shoot’s is 😆

I just went by that pizza place on Highway 44 on the way to Green Lake. They have the best pizza.
