This sticky forum topic is provided for WGA members to share their recommendations regarding activities, attractions, and locations to experience in this region. These recommendations may or may not be geocaching related. For example, you could use this topic to recommend a trip to a county park with a few geocaches along with many other interesting things to do and see. Or you could suggest attending a local festival or event held at a certain time each year.

When you make a recommendation, please provide as much information as you can. We are all geocachers, so coordinates for locations would also be helpful. 🙂

If there is a need to edit or delete your recommendations at a future date, just post a note in this topic and one of our forum admins will take care of making the change.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

If you’re in the southeast of Wisconsin on Saturdays, Sundays or Labor Day Monday July 11th through September 7th 2009, I highly recommend a trip to The Bristol Renaissance Faire

There is fun for the whole family, and it’s easy to spend an entire day there and not see the whole thing.

If you’re into food, this is a great place for you as well. They have the best fair food EVER, and some things I’m sure you’ve never seen or heard of.
