      Congratulations to redwingrr on 100 EarthCaches! That puts her at the Mica level in the EarthCache Discovery Awards. I really enjoyed her log on my EC GC3RNM5.

            Awesome job Sue and Dick. I was also creeping on you guys while you were in Hawaii and secretly wishing I were back there on the Big Island. Looks like you had some awesome EC’s! Congrats on 100 – an amazing challenge. Now let’s work on the rest in Wisconsin! Welcome back to the mainland!

              ECs are great! Lots of fun along the way with my dear hubby (not really an EC fan, lol) and my dear caching friends. Wow – I was going to mention a few but looking back there are just too many wonderful memories.
              I have to say, I think Becca’s Pololu Valley was my absolute favorite. You all need to go there – it’s like a wonderful dream.
              I didn’t know that 100 ECs gives us Mica status – Thanks for the info, Becca – I will check that out. Gives me an excuse to buy myself some Mica. 🙂
              Here’s to 100 more ECs!

                Okay…I will bite. What is mica? Does it involve dark chocolate – because if it does, we have 100 EC’s also and I want in! 😆

                  Go to http://www.earthcache.org/ to the section for the EarthCache Discovery Awards (EDA). There are several levels, right now I am Mica as well. There’s a big jump between Mica and the next level! I don’t think I’ll be getting there any time soon.

                    And thank you Sue. I’m so glad that you liked my EC. I was entranced on my way through the first time but probably didn’t fully explore it because we still had to get to our 5/5. Then on the way back we were so exhausted! I did stop long enough to take some coordinates and measurements because I wanted to create the EarthCache.

                                  I’ve seen a few that relate to ice cream. Pretty cool! It was a nice comparison to something we could relate to.
