Here are some guidelines for posting in the WGA regional forums:

    • The regional forums should only be used to discuss geocaching related topics that would mainly be of interest to geocachers in a single region of the state. If a topic may be of general interest, please post it one of the other (non-regional) forums.
    • Do not post the same topic in multiple regional forums. The forum software being used does not support automatic crossposting of the same topic or response to multiple forums. Posting to multiple forums often causes confusion and results in many separate discussions of the same topic taking place.
    • If one regional forum gets a significant amount of posts, the WGA Board may decide to further subdivide this active region. Requests for changes to the way the state has been divided up into regions should be made in the Suggestion Box forum.
    • In the future, a mechanism will exist for hiding regional forums that WGA members are not interested in viewing. For now, the “Mark all topics read” feature can be used to quickly ignore posts made in a particular forum.
