On my part, I would be happy having just PQs. Everything is a bonus.

09/25/2005 at 5:22 am #1740812If you enjoy “watching” caches, when you are a paid member you have an unlimited number of caches you can watch.
09/25/2005 at 1:25 pm #1740813A warm fuzzy feeling.
09/25/2005 at 3:17 pm #1740814I too would be willing to pay more for just the PQ’s. Using map software for caching, the PQ’s combined with the map software saves $$$ in gas alone.
Now if they could come out with autorouting that didn’t lead one in silly directions, and I finish that vegetable oil diesel conversion, i’d never go home.

You feed your pocket query into it and you have a database of all the caches that you can sort and mark by various options (distance, difficulty, recent success/failure at finding, etc) … then you can click on any of the listings and open that cache listing on your computer.
I find it helpful for planning a days activity, since your doing it off the Internet, everything is faster and printing is cleaner (without no adds and logos).
Only two draw backs I’ve found:
(1) Printing is a little weird, you have to right click on the page you want to print, rather than there being a print button.
(2) If you print the pages, it does NOT include the decoding key, like a geocaching.com page does.
09/28/2005 at 3:00 pm #1740816Once you’re a paid member you can “zoom in” on the maps, identify a particular cache on a map (along w/ 20 or so others), not mention the fact that you’re also helping to support the Groundspeak site.
**NOTE TO THOSE EASILY OFFENDED**
****DON’T READ THIS NEXT PART****To step on toes here…Once you pay, you’re no longer a free loader!
(And anyone noting that CB&MB does not hold a premium membership needs to look at Commander Bob and MajorBrat…we thought paying for 2 accounts was enough…didn’t think paying for a third was necessary) -
