Just thought I’d give this important post a little bump. Just over a month until the Picnic!

Last call for WGA Picnic Committee volunteers. This is a great chance for you to give back to the geocaching community by helping plan the Picnic, at Lake Wissota on Sep 19. This is an empowered committee, with most work done on line. There will also be opportunities to assist with temp hiding, perm hiding 2 – 3 weeks prior to the event, as well as assiting at the event to the extent you are able.

    Thanks.

Thanks for stepping up, Brian. I believe zuma is the man to check with for jobs and such….if you’re heading to Cache Bash, I think he’s there!

      Thanks again…

It is interesting to me that this isn’t a sticky topic either here or at the Picnic forum.

I haven’t been added to the Picnic Committee forum yet (I told zuma I’d join through PM so I understand why it hasn’t happened yet) but looking at the activity on that forum I guess I’m not missing anything.

What’s up? Should we make the picnic part of the Cash Bash as a side event instead of its own event? Is it because the picnic is more than a 3-hour drive from Milwaukee?

FYI – I’m not a complete idiot (only partial). I started my post above before Ralph submitted his post, ” Picnic Committee Named”.

Or just make it a Regional event.
