I will admit it is disappointing when a 5/5 cache gets “downgraded” and we notice it on our D/T grid, but we know we solved and found it as a 5/5 so our disappointment is fleeting.
Do what you want, Peach. You’re the CO!
On the Left Side of the Road...10/22/2012 at 10:10 pm #1965307tom…..the hardest ones to find are always the ones you placed yourself. plus don’t count on my dnf as having any validity. i don’t search for caches like i used to. i give up pretty quick anymore on a lot of them.
10/22/2012 at 10:11 pm #1965308gr – i know. i just wish the ratings would remain the same as when logged. problem solved.

That’s why I try to stick to ammo cans. If I can’t see them, I might trip over them…
In defense of Peach even though he doesn’t need it, he has placed some of the most interesting puzzle caches I’ve encountered. True I do mostly Northern Brown and Door County puzzles, but they have given me hours of pleasure. Thanks!

Doesn’t matter peach…just a game. Like I said, we know what we solved 8) .

And I don’t want to hear from any of you smart people out there who found it and on “How Easy It Was”!
Just went back and re-read my “Found It” on this one. I laughed when I got to the following – “Engineers make the hard things easy and the easy things hard.”

This would be good for a winter/summer cache rating also (assuming the CO adjusted it accordingly).

True. Lots of “hard water” caches that go from a 5 to a 2…

I had read your log also and had a copy of it in my pack during muzzleloader AND the regular season the 10 days before it. So much for me using that time wisely!
I’m sure I’ll be doing a little dance on the day I remove it from my DNF list…But that will most likely come after the muttered Duuuuh followed by the head smack.
