After just four months and over 2200 miles, RickBlick & Chick have completed The Wisconsin Delorme Challenge Part Deux! Besides a memorable FTF, this also marks their five year anniversary of geocaching.
Congratulations!01/11/2011 at 1:54 am #1941903Awesome, you guys! We noticed you were racking up the miles in pursuit of this, glad it paid off. Great way to mark this anniversary, too.

01/13/2011 at 11:59 pm #1941910Thanks for all the congratulations, and thanks to Black Cat for putting out the “Part Deux” DeLORME challenge. We still have the original DeLORME to finish, but there are so many places we want to go back to, that it shouldn’t be a problem. This state really is so beautiful once you get out past the “dead ends”!
I really expected some others to be finishing this challenge before us, but then I also didn’t think we would finish until spring. Tammy really got into the challenge and we were together to find more than half of the pages. Truly some marathon trips where we racked up miles with only a few caches found – but that’s the way we like it! And, the 2200 miles only counted the trips that were strictly for caching. Probably at least another 1000 miles to find a few caches along the way on trips planned for other purposes.
Glad you liked the logs
Cache Happy!!01/18/2011 at 8:12 pm #1941911CONGRATULATIONS!
Great achievement and accomplishment. I was happy to be along with you on one of the runs even though it only yielded 5 caches for the day. Superior Falls was certainly worth the drive though and I am glad I got to see it especially in the winter. What a sight. Keep on having fun.
