I photo copied the rings for each number of rings that are there , cut them out. I stuck then together with a tac on a square of cardbord and worked them around to several combos until I had coords that worked out when I put them in the GPSr…use the hint just like I had to use the hint on your puzzle helidood. I forgot the solve but I had to work it for quite some time. Good Luck
But how dod you actually make the rings?
The “Rings” on the cache page is a jpg that you can drag off and then print, several times.
But I have a sneaky suspicion that you want to know how to create a set of rings so that it produces coordinates of your own choosing. For that you will have to ask the cache owner or work it out on your own. 😈
(Please, nobody tell Cheezehead how create one of these puzzles!)
I promise not to tell, even if I knew. I hate puzzles, except sudoku. When I see that blue question mark, I just move on to the next one. I was thinking of doing a numbers run over in Appleton, so I brought up the map … maybe I’ll go somewhere else 😯
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
You can still get numbers in Appleton even without doing any puzzles. And some of those are solve-in-the-field puzzles. Not all puzzles are bad. Each one deserves at least a look.
Just like I stated before…I made several copies if the rings. I left 1 copy whole, then I cut the next ring set missing the outter most ring of each copy untill when all stacked up it looks just like the orginal. I put a tack in the center of the stack and then turned them several ways until I had what looks like it may work. Using the posted coords for reference. and reading the whole page for CLUES, for a solve. but If you’re looking for how to set this puzzle up, I have no clue.
No need to cut. Let your brain spin and the answer lights up. 💡 Works for John Nash, anyway……………………………..
