Due to their odd hours I can really only get there during the weekdays. But that means I have my 2 yr old. I pulled in once and wp 1 was too far for him to walk from the parking lot. Are the WP’s off main trails where I could push a stroller until we have to bushwack? Or are they off one of the many deer trails where I’d have to leave him home?
Riverbender does have trails to most of the points, but they are either narrow dirt walking trails or man made wood trails. There are alot of uneven spots on the wood trails so a stroller’s wheels probably would get caught alot. Also, parts of the dirt trails are very narrow and full of roots. It’s a beautiful park and both waypoints aren’t too far off those trails (but some bushwhacking is involved for the second point), but it may be difficult for a 2 yr old in a stroller.
OK, thanks! I’ll probably wait until summer vacation then
