Congratulations to RJ McKenzie for grabbing his 5000th cache on Oconto County – High Point GC26C7V.
That’s a whole lot of caches RJ.
You da man!I’m proud to say that some of those he found were mine, and that I grabbed a few others with him.
RJ, you’re one of the “Legends” in the Fox Valley.
Good luck in the U.S. Army.

08/02/2011 at 3:27 am #1951025Congratulations Ryan. I remember reading kmsnoops log on this one too. Sounds like a great milestone choice that I might try if we are ever at the lake in Oconto County at a milestone time.
08/02/2011 at 3:40 am #1951026Congratulations Ryan! And to think I knew you back in the day when you were ToyotaRyan….I will never forget my first encounter with you…you were trying to grab that FTF out at Bubolz….hiding in the woods….
Bet there are a lot of good memories in 5000 finds. Keep on caching!

08/02/2011 at 4:18 am #1951027I just realized that you have only been caching since Jan 09
thats an amazing # of finds in that short of time! About 161 caches per month every month for 31 months straight
way to go you bloodhound!!
08/02/2011 at 4:24 am #1951028Yeah…TR… those were the days! ๐
Congrats on a whopping 5K! ๐
08/02/2011 at 10:41 am #1951029Yeah, I remember when you first started…I thought, yay, another Menasha cacher just starting out like me…and then you took off like a rocket and I knew I would never catch up. ๐ 5000, wow, I can’t even imagine! Way to go! ๐

08/02/2011 at 4:10 pm #1951031Congratulations, Ryan ๐ That’s an outstanding milestone cache especially at this time of year. I’ve had this cache on my list too but I’m waiting for cooler weather and less bugs.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
08/03/2011 at 12:13 am #1951032Congrats RJ,
That is one heck of a hike in the warm weather that we have been having lately. When we set this cache up we figured it would end up being a milestone cache. Its definitely not a park and grab.
08/03/2011 at 2:21 am #1951033I remember Barry telling us about his plans for this cache before it was put out. I’d like to keep it reserved for a milestone, but I think I’d be doing it solo!
Since we’ve averaged about 100 or so caches per year in our career, we are awed by somebody doing 5K in this short time. Truely an accomplishment, Ryan, and our hats are off to you!

08/03/2011 at 2:33 am #1951034congratulations Ryan! Wow, 5K is a lot of caches to sign. I think I have your autograph on a log sheet or two over this-a-way!

And just think how many more times he had to sign for Marc.
