the WGA will be manning a booth at the Bubolz Nature Center’s Romp in the Swamp on Saturday Oct 22, 2011 from 3-7pm if anyone is interested in helping man that station and chatting geocaching with folks that stop by it would be appreciated. Dress warm and prepare well. Hope to see y’all there.

Oh, forgot to mention that there is a lot of other activities going on besides our booth. Bring the Family and make a day of it.

I came last year but can’t this year. However, I will be at the CITO earlier in the day and will tell folks there who maybe won’t see this announcement. I also knew several people who came with their families for the event, and they enjoyed themselves.
I’ll be there.
It was a wonderful afternoon at Bubolz Nature Center in Appleton. Labrat_Wr and I shared Geocaching with many families. Some had heard of it before. Some kids had learned about it in school or through scouting. And some we’re excited to learn about it for the first time.
Thought I would share a few pictures from the Romp in the Swamp event for everyone:

Look at the long line of folks waiting to hear about Geocaching!! — just kidding, they we’re actually waiting for the Hayride 🙂
