If there is a challenge cache on the list but you do not yet qualify for the challenge, but still visit the cache, can you submit it for the LCG. CO sates on cache page if you do not qualify you may still sign the log as a note and then write the found log when you qualify.

My thought is that there is no submission option available for the situation you describe. It’s not a find if you don’t qualify. It’s not a revisit unless you have already qualified. It’s not a dnf if you sign the log pre-qualification. So, unless you adopt it, I don’t believe it can be submitted for points.

04/10/2016 at 5:18 pm #2048623It’s our “Tour de Adams County Challenge”. GC44REQ It’s lonely because not many take the time to find caches in all parts of Adams County. The final isn’t hard to get to, and the 19 qualifying caches can all be P&Gs if one so chooses. We do check that those claiming smileys have met the challenge.

“Five more to go… maybe some April Showers for Adams county” That cacher still hasn’t claimed the challenge…😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😉

04/11/2016 at 6:48 am #2048646There’s also the Confluence challenge in Eau Claire. I believe that’s what Linda is talking about.

04/11/2016 at 9:02 am #2048654I do not see a post by Linda in this thread. I responded the way I did because Lois had visited our challenge cache yesterday and posted this query. I knew she was talking about our challenge hide.

Oh my goodness, that was so stupid. I meant to say Lois and had a moment of stupidity. My bad! Probably because I believe that Linda has signed the log on the confluence challenge but hasn’t claimed it as found.
