Congratulations to Rich and Sue aka Run N Search on hitting 5000 caches at the National Pi Day event at Pizza King.

Fun couple to cache with and they hide some pretty good caches too. Way to go you two.

Congrats on 5000 smileys!  It’s been fun to do some of those with you guys along the way.  Some great memories.  Here’s to the next 5000!

Isn’t this where you are supposed to throw a pie in their face? Congratulations!

Congrats on 5,000 smileys.  If you spent an average of 10 minutes searching for, 15 minutes driving to, 15 minutes driving from, 5 minutes walking to, 5 minutes walking from, and 4 minutes logging each cache, that works out to 270,000 minutes, or 4,500 hours, or 187.5 full days invested in this crazy game.  Way to go! 🙂

5000 sounds like a nice round number compared to that never-ending irrational pi.  Congrats to Run N search on the big milestone!

Pi divided by 5000 is 6.283185307 E -4…those pieces of pie are way too small.

5000 plus pi = 5003.141593… and it goes on and on.

Since you added pi (and pie-congrats on the prize!) to your 5000 finds, may your smileys go on and on!

Thank you all, for the congratulatory messages.

It is hard to believe that we have been goecaching for almost six years.

We visited a lot of great places, met a lot of nice people and had a lot of fun along the way.

Thanks again, and we hope to see you on the trail.

    Regards,

    RNS
