We have been working with Walkingadventure to finish off our D/T grid for about a year. We made up cache runs just to pick off another spot here and there. As we got closer to the end, we both needed to get the same spots filled.
Filling the D/T grid wasn’t initially a focus for the Mrs and I, but we try to find ways to keep caching interesting by giving ourselves challenges to work on, within the sport. It took three years, three months, and three days for us. WA has been around quite a bit longer.
Yesterday (9/29/2012) WA and I made a cache run to Algoma for the last spot. It wasn’t a particularly hard cache (GC1DAQM a 1/3.5) but it was the one we needed.
I know that some have done it much faster and finished with the hardest, but it is still good to get it done. Nice to see the grid completely colored in.
Thanks to all of you who put caches out to allow the rest of us to find. Without all of you, this little accomplishment would not have been possible. And thanks to all of you who went on cache runs with us. It was a pleasure. π π π

Like rich said, thanks to all that gave us the adventures and thanks to RNS for putting together our Grid filler runs.

I know that Amita was just kidding, but I bet eventually you’ll have that grid filled in with at least 2 per square. A new goal to shoot for! Some day.
It’s great that you were able to do it together, very nice!

Next challenge is to get them all filled with at least 2 finds for each spot, that way when somebody changes a D/T it wonΓ’β¬β’t leave you with a hole. π―10/01/2012 at 5:43 pm #1964253Congrats RNS and WA!
RNS – We started about the same time, but WA had a huge head start on us. I would have thought he’d be “around the block” 3 times by now!
Way to go!
