In keeping with a recent tradition of posting clues in my milestone recognition logs, here are a few on some of my most lonely puzzle caches:
Clavell’s King Rat is a novel about a Prison camp in Japan (not China) and its prisoners surviving by resorting to their ANIMAL nature. The King is an advantageous rat-b)*^*$^, who prays on the necessity of others;
My neighbor Totoro likes tress, Porco is a pilot though not a pirate, and if you fall from a castle you may be caught;
A river is “rich and full and wide”, roses grow in gardens, stories are found in libraries, and hearts occasionally need to be looked after;
