I just want to let the charitable and or running minded folks on this board know about a run coming up that is trying to raise money to find a cure for NF. NF is an understudied genetic disorder that can cause bone malformations, brain tumors, and many other conditions in children and adults. My wife and I are helping out organize this run with another set of parents who’s child was diagnosed with NF. As some of you know this is the condition that my daughter is afflicted with. She has fought past having her right leg amputated and most recently 7 brain surgeries and a year of Chemotherapy to stop the tumors growth.
The race will be at Plamann Park in Appleton. If you would like to run in this race see the following link. http://www.active.com/donate/nfsamiamrace
We are starting “Team Emma” to run in this race. If you cannot be there for the race and would like to contribute please PM me for information on where to send a check.
For more information on NF visit CTF.org as this is where all proceeds will go.
Thanks, Team Hemisphere Dancer.

JUst to let you all know I am actually working out for this run. Tonight I ran my first complete 5K. I did it in under 35 minutes. WOW I am tired. Not to fast by some standards but for an outta shape 41 year old I am pretty happy with it.
