Mark and Pat, congrats on another notable milestone, and what could be better than one of Pete’s caches placed in your Summer Home! We are really honored to have been a part of your #1500 find. We all enjoyed spending time with you guys at HCSP back in May, and now Chucky and me in July. Our only regret is that Chris was not able to join us recently, we’ll just need to schedule something yet this summer.

I try to post decent logs, but yours are always so much fun to read. You’ve set a high standard for the rest of us to shoot for.

Kudos to a terrific caching team, and great friends!

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone! A special thanks to Labrat for the milestone cache and to Grandpa and Chucky for the company. That was a great day in a favorite place of ours. If you missed the WGA campout in May and haven’t been to Hartman Creek since, put it on your must-do list.

It took us about two years to get the first 500 caches, but only a year for each of the next two 500s. I think we’re hitting our stride now. Still won’t ever end up with more finds than posts, though! 😉 And we would be sitting at zero finds if it weren’t for the COs of the 1500 caches we have found. You are the people who make this game work for all of us!

And, CJ, a “spell” is however long it takes to stop and smell the roses… a “simple reward for getting out there and walking the trails.”

Way to go Pat and Mark! It sounds like your summer home was the perfect choice for a milestone. I too have Sat-a-spell, but I think it was only long enough to tie my shoe! And smell the roses? Don’t you mean sunflowers? Either way, glad you are enjoying the journey, because that is what it is all about. 🙂
