Anyone else have a problem with getting a Satellite lock today?
I had sunny and clear skys this morning was getting a reading of +/- 50 feet. My normal reading is +/- 15- 25 feet. At one time it was +93 feet and I was at an open ball field,
I didn’t notice anything this morning. I just checked my 60CSX and it was getting a good +-30 feet here at my desk.
No problems chaching at several diffrent times today between 0800-1400
Just turned the etrex H on inside the house here to check. Got a quick lock for 30 feet. But it behaves well when we’re not out looking for caches.
I did have some troubles locking in today. I was open field caching most of the time too. I just thought it was that giant mylar balloon floating around.
That’s funny, there was a big balloon floating around when I was caching this morning as well.
Sorry, can’t help you….dog destroyed my 60Cs the other day. I should take a photo and post it. I’d be surprised after her mischief if I could get a lock with 500 feet accuracy.
No problems in the Keweenaw.

On the other hand I was wondering why I was getting acceptional accuracy in the woods today on the two caches I did.

OK, Do I need to reset my GPSr or are the satellites in just a funky orbit??
Sunny clear skys and the best I can come with this morning was +/- 23 to 27 feet. I did download the latest Garmin update for my unit.
