First of all congratulations on your nominations and GOOD LUCK! Some days you need a day away from politics, so, there are no right or wrong answers to these questions, HAVE FUN, although, my tie casting vote may depend on them! 😀 I arrive at your house/apartment an hour before sunrise the Saturday morning before elections close. We are going on a day of geocaching in Wisconsin until three hours past sunset. You can bring one person along if you would like to. If you bring one person would that be, someone you haven’t cached with before, or someone you have already cached with, and who would that be? Do you want me to drive or have me put gas in your vehicle? Where do you want to go for lunch? I’m buying. What are we listening to, our conversations, a radio station, if so, what one, or CD’s you bring along and what would they be, or a combination of these? We stop for dinner, where do you want to go? I’m buying. On this Saturday Caching Trip do you want to help me increase my numbers, take me to some special areas in Wisconsin, some hides of your own, some new hides, or…

This one will be fun to answer:

I’d like to bring along Mom (ldybugldy), if that’s okay with you. She has some physical limitations and does get out of the house much. So I like to bring her along geocaching whenever possible. She might not be able to go on all of the caches with us, but she doesn’t mind sitting in the car either, as long as she gets to go find a few with us. Plus, not only is she my mother, she’s my best friend. And she’s lots of fun!

I am completely willing to be the driver for the day (since you’re treating for the meals!) My little Kia gets really good gas mileage!

Lunch is no problem — I’m a cheap date. I’m perfectly happy at any old place as long as I can get a little protein. If we’re near a Taco Bell, that would be great.

Usually, when I’m out caching with others, I tend to not play music and we can chat. This way I can get to know you better. But if my banter gets a little wacky and you’d like a little musical moment, feel free! I like all types of music and have a wide variety available in my car (musicals, country, metal, even still have some Christmas tunes in there yet). But feel free to bring along your own CDs if you’d like. As the passenger in my car, you actually have full control of the radio/CD player. And as an added bonus, feel free to adjust the heat to your desired comfort level.

Supper is also no worries for me. We might want to go somewhere we can rest a little though. Culver’s might be nice. Again, all I need is my protein (I usually have a hamburger patty with cheese — no bun. Yes, I’m an odd eater.) This would be another nice opportunity to chat a little more and talk about our caching day so far.

As far as the theme for the day, I would want to take you to some great areas in my neck of the woods. There would be a few caches that I really enjoyed and want to share with you. We might stop by a couple of my personal caches — there’s a couple of them that I really think a nice. But we should also go to an area that neither of us (or Mom) has been to before. There is so much joy in experiencing a new caching area with friends. We could create some great memories. Although getting a lot of caches during our day out would be nice, I think the journey that we spend together will have the most value.

    Thanks for caching with me!

I have to agree, that this is a fun question.

    Anything works for me!

I do like taking new people out caching as well as Seasoned Vetrans. Finding Caches is not what it is about. I enjoy the Comradarie, and friendship. I don’t have a problem driving, but I have a small Jeep, so I can really only take one person Comfortably! The numbers also don’t matter. I do like going back to caches that I have already found. Kinda like hiding your own easter eggs!!!

Lunch can be anywhere. Generally I liek a Sit down place a bit better than fast food, but we can always bring up the Restruant’s on the GPS!~!!!!

Well, for me, I’m pretty much a navigator, so I’d let you drive. An ideal caching day for me would be to go to a state park (or other natural area) and spend the day hiking to all the caches in the park. Maybe we’d stop for one on the road along the way there and back, but the idea is to spend time in the natural setting without needing to drive. I’ll bring sandwiches for the backpack lunch, you can buy the steak dinner on the way home. Oh, and instead of music, we’ll have to listen to a replay of the Packers beating the Giants in the NFC Championship (this is known as pandering to the electorate!)
