As some of you may know the former Stark candy factory in Pewaukee is closing down. That factory is the ONLY place where Candy Raisins are manufactured. The owners of the company which bought out the location have said they cannot guarantee that they will continue to make them at another location. If that is the case there will be no more Candy Raisins!

    DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

Sign the petition to SAVE THE RAISINS:

I did not check out your petition but if this is something you really want to see happen know that Internet petitions are useless as anyone can sign up anyone elses name.. start a real one.

That may be so but the subject and website has made the news and that gets exposure. I’d hate to see my favorite little golden candy go bye-bye.

Never heard of the candies before, but they look tasty, so I signed the petition anyway.

Unless you’re willing to place a very large order, I can’t see any reason financially why this company would care about a petition. Money talks, sorry.

I too never heard of candy raisins. Must be a local thing. Perhaps that indicates why they will cease production – poor marketing.

It is a local favorite (local to Milwaukee area). I have been eating these for as long as I can remember…and yes the company cares about one thing…MONEY. My motivation to sign the petition is to help me in obtaining closure. I feel better about losing something if I make an attempt to first save it…even a futile one.

This is a common Treat …. you may be familiar with this one.

Many other companies produce these Chocolate covered Raisins … Movie theatres sell them by the car load. … 😆 … 😆

Consider them the forerunners of Gummy Bears. They had been around forever, when I was a kid.

A favorite of mine too, though like Laurel Walker says people either love them or dislike them. Signed the petition
