Once again I went searching for Scarabaeidae Deltochilum Gibbosum’s Delight” by Artopsy, and once again it kicked the &$%# out of me! This has got to be the most challenging cache in Southeastern Wisconsin!
03/20/2003 at 1:47 pm #1739468I agree, but i did find it after my fourth trip and 5 pair of eyes. After you find it you will be slapping your forehead and shaking your head smiling.
The only cache i’ve come acroos that rivils it was The Entwives Tumor, but that one isn’t active anymore.
Good Luck, Mark
03/20/2003 at 2:21 pm #1739469I’d be willing to meet you there and give you a getting “warmer” – “colder” guidance to the cache. (if it’s still there)
If anyone else is interested in putting a nail in this coffin, we could all meet there at a certain date/time.
03/20/2003 at 10:26 pm #1739470I would also be happy to do some on sight coaching . just post a date/time. I am sure one of us can make time to help anyone the wants the coaching.
If you have made an attempt to find this cache, you owe it to yourself to find it. This is an exceptional lesson in camoflage technique.
03/20/2003 at 10:30 pm #1739471Artopsy needs to get involved here as well.
03/21/2003 at 11:40 am #1739472Hey that’s a good idea. We could have a mini gathering of cache hunters scouring the woods! I have off on Sunday (3-23)if that works for everyone. I wonder how many times I’ve walked past this elusive dung while searching.

03/22/2003 at 11:40 am #1739475I was one of the people that needed to have my nose rubbed in it.
But as of Saturday, I have a multiple in the same park so there’s an opportunity for a two-fer for anyone who shows up for the gang cache.
03/22/2003 at 11:47 am #1739476Sunday isn’t going to work for us. But we hope You all have a great time with it.
tb03/22/2003 at 6:19 pm #1739477Doh!
My schedule changed. I’m not available Sunday morning now. I am available any morning during the week though.
Sorry
03/22/2003 at 6:55 pm #1739478As the first finder of Scarab, I would just like to take this opportunity to say:
Neener, neener!
LOL!
(God, I’m SUCH a jerk!)
11/02/2012 at 3:33 pm #1739479I wonder how hard Scarabaeidae Deltochilum Gibbosum’s Delight would be by today’s “standards”
Hmmm…
Onward Ranger Boy, onward!

11/04/2012 at 3:47 am #1739480Went there yesterday, just for 10 minutes as the sun was setting. Didn’t expect to get very far in 10 minutes on RB’s new hide at that location. We were on our way to attend a play and thought we’d do some prelim scouting. We’ll be back. Oh yes. We will be back. 8)
