Rats! The WGA campout is scheduled for the same weekend as my Lakeshore Symphonic Band concert. This never used to happen when I was president of both organizations. 😀
Will you be able to make some of the event or is it a complete no-go?
Doh! Maybe you can record your part and someone can “lip synch” for you (so to speak).
Otherwise, I’ll be forced to disquise myself as Ken so it looks like you made it to the campout 🙂

We’re thinking we could camp Friday night and leave by mid-afternoon Saturday. which means missing the meeting and the group photo. It’s not the ideal solution, but I really need to play the next concert because I opted out of our most recent concert (last night) because of a company party.
Brian, I could bring my hat and leave it with you for the group photo. You could hold it up on your hand or something. Would that qualify me as attending?
Next Year maybe we’ll have your band preform during intermission of the WGA meeting, and you can do both.

Upon further review… the concert that weekend is Sunday evening instead of Saturday, so it looks like I’m good for both nights of the campout.
