The new school year has begun, and a new caching and TB team has been formed, the SetonCachers4, based at Seton Middle School in Menasha. This year, the students have partnered up and we’ll turn loose about 30 TB’s.

Our primary release points will be the R.J.’s Menasha TB Hotel ( GC26EZE ); the Seton Eagle Nest cache ( GC13EA5 ) , just west of the Fox Valley at Hwy 10 / CB; and Seton’s St. M-M TB Retreat ( GC17508 ) in Waupaca.

Many of you have been just terrific getting our TB’s moving, posting great logs and pictures, and sharing encouraging words. That has been much appreciated, but now I am asking your help once again. We are a little late this year, but this works the best if we can get these out of central WI before the snow flies.

The missions are all pretty lofty, but remember, they’ve been penned by a bunch of 11 – 12 year olds. Please don’t hesitate to grab one of ours just because you can’t take it to Europe or Asia or wherever… The truth is, they are thrilled just to have their TB move!

The first few went into a cache this aft, but the main release will be next week. Keep an eye on the above caches and these forums for updates.

    Thanks a lot,

Grandpa Jim for all four of the SetonCachers teams

Looking forward to helping. I can move 1 (or more) to the east coast and probably 1 (or more) to Arizona.

We look forward to this “event” in October like some people do the opening of Toyland at Farm & Fleet. We’ll plan a trip over to Waupaca to pick some up when the TBs get “checked in”. Just get ’em moving is all the kids want, and we’re happy to oblige. Of course, if we can give a TB a theme-related adventure before it leave our hands, then that’s just frosting on the cake.

Between 3:30 and 5:30 this afternoon (Oct. 05) approximately 20 student TB’s will be dropped in R.J.’s Menasha TB Hotel ( GC26EZE ); the Seton Eagle Nest cache ( GC13EA5 ) just west of the Fox Valley at Hwy 10 / CB; and Seton’s St. M-M TB Retreat ( GC17508 ) in Waupaca.

Thanks a lot, Lighthouse Nut, for getting the first several moving, including one to California. These kids are absolutely thrilled! We now have four map pins placed on our big hallway bulletin boards. The rest of the 6th graders are anxiously watching the website so they can poke their pins someplace.

      Thanks a lot!

cYa, Jim & the SetonCachers4 team
