I don’t know if this is a new or old idea, but here goes:
I work in a PK-12 school(Sauk Co). One of our goals is to give the children positive and healthy life choices.
Is there a person or group that could/would come to our school with equip. and teach/demonstrate geocaching? We do have a small school forest where I could hide caches.
I have only been geocaching once, so I might need some technical advice.
TIA for any leads.
I might suggest contacting Gr8 Eyes as she has property in your area .. she is a teacher too however.
Have you looked at the geocaching.com map for your area? You may be surprise. Chances are, there are already caches hidden in your school forest.
I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off and can help out… and still have my WI teaching license 😉
