Segue to a Milestone on a Segway

Well this was a first for YT and the Blondie Bloodhound at GC292YJ “Home of the Scotty Rally!”
Our very 1st cache find on a Segway PT 😀A Milestone!
And without going all CodeJunkie here GC13DCV (props!) we have found caches using a variety of methods but none like this…….
To date we have cached by: bike, snowshoe, snowmobile aka “Snomocaching”, monorail, Mexican taxi, bus, Amtrak, escalator, car ferry, elevator (high atop the Stratosphere in Vegas), boat, swimming, wading, off road Jeep, airplane, hiking and I am sure there may be a few others that have been left out or still yet to do ❗ 😀
Gotta say caching on a Segway was very interesting and like a horse they can have a “mind’ of their own! 😀 😀 😀 😀
Hmmmm maybe a new icon for the cache page ❓ ❓
Happy caching

Second – Where’s the video? 😯This sounds like some serious fun. I’ve never riden (drove?) (ie ride a bike, drive a car) one of these, but everyone I’ve seen makes it look so easy. I’m sure it’s one of those things that gets easier with practice, but that had to be an awesome adventure.
Congrats on another milestone and doing something unique in the process.
PS – No videos exist of the CJ adventure you mention, but I’m sure Jstajlr is still shaking his head.

07/27/2011 at 4:47 am #1950523We got a chuckle on several caches we found after you, last month in Door County, where you noted your mode of transportation in your logs. And it immediately reminded us of several caches we got up Nort a few winters ago, where you preceded us on snowmobile. You always sound like your having a blast! Like CJ said – Jealous!
Keep on pushing the fun! 😉 😉
07/27/2011 at 1:36 pm #1950524HA! Never been on one of those but I’m betting much like a unicycle I’d end up flat on my face riding one!
Awesome and congrats!
07/27/2011 at 10:05 pm #1950525I don’t know if there is more then 1 outfit that rents them in Door County, but there are tours around the county and occasionally a group will board the ferry at Northport and tour Washington Island.
