Selling Etrex Legend

I picked this unit up back in Feb. 2010 off of craigslist. It works great and is loaded with caches in the Milw. area, Manitowoc and Iron Mt (also the route to Iron Mt). I paid $120 for it and am looking to get $100 for it. I am only selling it because I upgraded to paperless caching. (btw, I still have most of the papers printed up for the caches that are loaded if the purchaser is interested – otherwise they will just be recycled). It is loaded with base maps, has the soft case and lanyard, and it came with a mount (but I don’t think all the pieces are there for the mount, I never used it). I have all the books with it too. Feel free to email me, I will also be placing it on craigslist, I will post when it is sold 🙂

Ya sure you want to get rid of it? Keep it as a back up? Or for something you kids to use when you out caching?

You would be better off keeping it as a backup. I bought a used one from another geocacher not long ago for $35.00. I doubt if you’ll get more than $50.00. You can buy the next up model etrex new at WalMart for $100.

well, being a noob back in Feb. I was happy to pay what I did as it was the cheapest I could find at the time. I guess if I can’t get the 100 for it I will keep it for the kidlets… I will see how it goes 🙂 Thanks for the info.
