So why does everyone feel like they “gotta run” to all of these “seldom|seen” caches in the woods or through the water, “huffinpuffin2” find what might just be a bunch of “junk” now?
Looks like you all had quite a few adventures this month! π
09/30/2010 at 1:27 am #1936667Congrats to HP2, GR, and S|S. I’m totally jealous because these guys (and at least one gal) got to do some awesome caches. And the logs match the adventures making for some great reading.
My goal was to break 250 points which is a new 1 month high for me (breaking the previous of 227.5). Definately a great mix of traditionals, puzzles and others this cycle providing something for everyone.
09/30/2010 at 2:26 am #1936668Funny thing is that most months, 300+ points would’ve put me in contention to win…

But now there’s HP2 π― π― π― who’s raised the bar for all of us.
09/30/2010 at 9:53 pm #1936670We’ve created a monster…looks like we’ll be passed by team HP2 any day now. They’ve already passed us in number of finds and are second only to s|s in non-revisits. But we’re still #1 in rescues (and DNFs π³ )! Woo hoo! The only question is…when will they pass sagasu for the combined top spot? Wagers anyone?

And thank goodness this isn’t a game where points mean anything, because it’s not about the numbers right?. π π π
09/30/2010 at 11:37 pm #1936672UH OH – I just approved some additional HP2 entries further raising their score. Reading the logs was fun as they followed a trail similar to where my dad and I went a few weeks ago. And they had some similar struggles on one particular cache. It’s always fun reading a log and thinking to yourself – That’s the exact same spot and same thing we did looking for this dang thing. And 25′ from the geobeacon? That’s a far cry better than the 209′ it used to be from the beacon and considering the beacon appears to be somebodys hunting spot I moved it as close as I could. It’s still funny to read the story about HP1a walking toward the beacon and HP2b finding it Muggle B style.
10/01/2010 at 12:07 am #1936673Awwwww…we just dropped out of the top 3. π₯ Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!
