Shake, Rattle & Roll -The Day Wells Shook #800 in Nevada

Thanks to the Blondie Bloodhound for pushing me towards 800. She thought it would be FUN for us to start on the Wisconsin DeLorme Challenge (for my birthday treat) and for good measure to do a caching trip out to Nevada, Utah and Idaho. 😀

So in the last TWO weeks as we have hurtled towards 800 caches (and beyond) we have encountered numerous Black Bears, a pack of Timber Wolves 😯 , porcupines, high altitude hiking, rock climbing, desert heat 8) , crawling under barbed wire, torrential down pours, blood-sucking mosquito’s, diamond back rattle snakes along with miles and miles of orange barrels. ❗ ❗

We got Number 800 on Friday the 13th, in Nevada at Shake, Rattle & Roll -The Day Wells Shook GC19M62.

It was more fun than jump school and falling out of the sky. OK, Rangers Lead the Way (RLTW) but the Blondie Bloodhound is leading our geocaching way. I’m beginning to definitely see the influence of Sagasu (Dave) and the Curly Girls (Lisa) on her.

For me, I just glad to be back at work (and pretty much in one piece) so I can rest up these old bones of mine.

But, we do have some more R &R coming up around Independence Day and I know she has been studying the DeLorme and is talking about something out there called the Tunnel of Terror!! GCYQAX 🙄

I can’t wait. YIKES!

Congrats SGH and BB on the 800 milestone! You sure have picked up the pace. Last I looked, you were hot on our heels and about ready to pass our number of finds. Now you are getting all those high-tech gadgets and caching everywhere you go! Conquering states and the DeLorme, you are starting to sound like me!
