An excellent goal!

05/23/2015 at 4:09 pm #2040036According to my profile, I have found 3 state park caches as follows:
WGA State Park Series Finds
Lake Superior North Woods: 0 of 7 WGA SPS caches found.
Southern Savanna: 0 of 13 WGA SPS caches found.
Mississippi and Chippewa Rivers: 0 of 9 WGA SPS caches found.
Central Sands Prairie: 1 of 7 WGA SPS caches found.
Lake Michigan: 2 of 11 WGA SPS caches found. It should be 4 caches. I found Governor Thompson, Copper Culture, Hartman Creek, and High Cliff. Is one of my finds missing?
05/23/2015 at 5:20 pm #2040037Your find at High Cliff last weekend probably hasn’t had the time to process to your stats here yet.
05/23/2015 at 10:08 pm #2040045Yes, the squirrel takes a few days to count the SPS. I’m impatiently waiting for my new badge.

05/23/2015 at 11:08 pm #2040047You don’t need no stinkin’ badges!
05/24/2015 at 12:27 am #2040048I have two from the Mississippi/Chippewa biome from a week ago that have not updated yet.
06/01/2015 at 12:26 pm #2040234I only have 7 parks left to visit!

06/01/2015 at 7:58 pm #2040242We are down to 8 parks left to visit. Planning the road trip as I type!

06/02/2015 at 7:24 am #2040254I need to work on the northwoods biome. Anyone want to join me for a roadtrip?

06/02/2015 at 9:53 am #2040257I doubt I’ll ever get all the state parks. But getting the Lake Michigan biome is very doable for me. I’m planning on getting 4 of the 5 caches in Door County this month. The 5th one in Door County is Rock Island. I have no idea if I’ll ever get way up there.
06/02/2015 at 12:29 pm #2040270Todd300, if you can, you should! It has been my favorite of the State Parks series so far. Plan to spend at least most of the day on the island. It’s expensive to get there with the two ferries but it is a really cool experience!

09/19/2015 at 9:07 pm #2043011It has long been my goal to finish up the series with my final SPS cache at Pattison for the WGA Picnic. Right now I have Pattison and Copper Falls to find yet and the picnic is in one week! I have managed to talk my family into going on a day trip to Copper Falls tomorrow. Why didn’t I go this summer?! I’m hoping that the fall colors have started and it will be a pleasant trip. Getting closer…
And on a related note, several more teams have finished up the series now. Congratulations! Check out the finder list.

10/14/2015 at 4:52 am #2043544Just read the log HH. HIgh Cliff is a great park!
I am planning on a few more WGA SPS caches on Friday. Right now, we are excited to have found 37.

10/14/2015 at 10:13 am #2043548I have finally found at least one in all but the Northwoods biome. Total for me thus far 12 I think. This is a major accomplishment for me since this is the first year in a long time that I got a state park sticker. **gasp** Horrible, I know. Not a tradition that I will allow to resume.
