I did it!!!!  I finished the series!  Here’s a photo of me and my daughter at our final in the series, Pattison State Park.

Congrats Becca on finishing the series. We just finished with our last one being at Copper Falls State Park. What an amazing series! Now for a series on the state trails!

So did you just volunteer to head up that trail series? I think you did! I’m all for it!

Congrats on completing the series.  Got any other goals in mind?

But Chris did such a good job on the State Park Series – I would not want to steal his thunder!

Working on Wisconsin Classic Hikes, the waterfalls and Unique Natural Features. Also – the cheezey challenge.

My State Park Series is missing two parks.  Any ideas?  Also when I look on the list, none of the smileys are showing up.

My smilies stopped at 37 so I never got the artwork and possibily the fact my caching name starts with “W”. As the Cat told me, only so many can run before it stops for us. Of course, that is a paraphrase. This is all tied into the geocaching.com API.

May be a new task for MTCLIMBR. It would be nice to get it updating correctly again so I can verify who has completed the series.

I was out with Hearty Soles to the SW corner of the state early this week and only have those located in Door and Kewaunee Counties left to go. Hopefully by the time the snow flies.

I discovered I missed a SW Wisconsin State Park — Belmont Mounds State Park.

Why? It is not listed on the State Map and it is not listed on the State Park/Forest Visitor’s Guide.

BUT it is listed on our WGA SP Series list.

Well, I unfortunately did not load the SP query or review it before I planned my trip, as I was using the State Map for this.

Look at the bright side – you don’t need to think up a reason for another road trip.  Right!

We were finally able to grab another one last week in Door County. We will get there surely, but slowly 🙂

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

As of earlier this month we’ve now cached in all 47 of the state parks, but we haven’t been to Gov Thompson SP to find the WGA cache yet.  So we have that one more WGA SP to go.  We didn’t log the one we placed at Harrington Beach SP, so that could be construed as two to go.  Heading to Gov Thompson on Labor Day weekend.
