If anyone’s ever going down to Indianapolis, please take me with you. I feel the need to make a pilgrimage to the shelter of this cache.

I’m going to Florida for Christmas and am planning a detour to check Shelter II. Sorry no room for more folks. But, I’ll be glad to tell you what i see there.
We stopped at Shelter 2 on our way to FLorida yesterday. Came up empty – what a surprise. did find the red herring though, that’s a good accomplishment at this cache. the #2 is a regular street-type sign, nothing special. The shelter is a very simple shelter, but is really quie large with lots of little nooks and crannies.
The picnic tables are all bolted down, so you have many, many more hiding spots to look. There’s also hundreds of exposed bolts that could be fake. we spent about an hour and a half there with 5 people checking all the possibilities and theories that we formulated.
It’s really an remarkable hide in an unremarkable shelter in a nice little park. It looks a lot easier than it is! Venture down there and try it!!!
Take me too!
