This milestone puzzle recognizes a team demonstrating a rare combination of prowess and modesty, charisma and grace, as well as contagious enthusiasm. And they seem to like mysteries as well, thriving on challenging puzzles as well as devious hides or high terrain adventures in special places.
If you solve this puzzle, you don’t even have to name the team or their milestone; they don’t thrive on that as much as the fun they share finding all those inspiring and challenging hides. Just post your smiley in recognition of their milestone on Tuesday of this week.
Hint: “sen yon hyaku”
Who will be the FTFO (First To Find Out)?
As with many other puzzles, the solve will get easier as more find out. PAFs and tours are welcome for this one.
04/24/2010 at 1:24 am #1927880My guess is Col. Mustard in the conservatory with the candlestick. Oops wrong game. How about Huffinpuffin2 Mascoutin Valley 3 for 1400.
If not I congratulate them anyway on their 1400th.
04/24/2010 at 1:48 am #1927881I concur…sen yon hyaku was the dead giveaway! Congratulations huffinpuffin2 on your milestone. I love reading your logs as much as I do a great novel. Keep up the great work!
04/24/2010 at 1:53 am #1927882Congrats! Google still works! 😉
04/24/2010 at 3:17 am #1927883Yeah on 1400….that’s a heap of caches for some penguins! 🙂 Could not resist….Congrats!

04/24/2010 at 1:06 pm #1927884Wow…how did I miss that!!! Congrats on the milestone, and I loved reading the logs you posted. We appreciate it, and hope you enjoyed yourselves, according to the logs you did!!!
04/25/2010 at 3:43 am #1927885Holy crud – That’s my cache and I missed the milestone. My sincere apologies to HuffinPuffin2. I was so wrapped up in reading the great storyline that I missed the milestone. Way to go.
04/25/2010 at 4:26 pm #1927886Ha! I wondered if that would escape you, Ed! 😉 Considering huffinpuffin2’s taste for the journey rather than the milestone markers, I thought a little different recognition was in order. I kind of like this more subtle mystery milestone format, a little more fun for all, and a lot of peeks to see who got the FTFO!
My only regrets are how quickly the spoilers were posted. 😯 My hopes were that the secret would linger for a while and challenge some others to make the discovery on their own, PAF and tour tongue-in-cheek notwithstanding. Where’s the delete function when you need it? 🙄
Congrats again to a fine team on their milestone at The Mascoutin Valley Trail Final (GC1ZNTV)!
04/25/2010 at 6:54 pm #1927887Nicely done, Sagasu…and congrats on the milestone Huffinpuffin2 😀
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
04/26/2010 at 12:58 am #1927888Great job and a great place for a milestone HP2! Here’s to many more and catching you on the trail again soon!
Cache on! 8)
04/26/2010 at 1:43 am #1927889Congrats HP2 on another milestone!
04/26/2010 at 2:34 am #1927890Do itashimashita, everyone! 😳 😉
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don’t look now, but there is a very sneaky Sensei who is creeping up on a really big milestone………
Perhaps we should start a thread for the watch and countdown: What’s **** Up To Now? 😛 -
