But it looks like a bison tube in the bush above the guy with the blue backpack, so you need to go 528 feet further.
I wonder if 528′ away vertically would be an acceptable option…
10/23/2012 at 12:01 am #1965331I am pretty sure it is in Spain, I watched the youtube video and there are a few others of the same place and where the trail is broken and falling apart in places. Scary!

Gary, don’t be a wimp, get your bike out and do the trail THAT way. 😯 There are clean shorts waiting for you when you get home…. 😆
On second thought, the terrain would have to be a 5. Do “DEPENDS” count as special equipment?

I’d seen a TV something or other that showed that. Maybe documentary, or something similar. Ever since, I’ve wanted to go there. Even though it’s “closed”, it doesn’t seem to be enforced.
10/24/2012 at 11:13 am #1965335Watching the video of this and seeing the trail missing guard rails in places actually made me nauseous….
I do have a climbing harness and equipment but I’m still afraid of heights. Tie me in and I can manage the fear but without a rope heights scare the hell out of me.
Even those steps up the steeple at Holy Hill scare the crap out of me (it’s been about 10 years since I was last up the tower…maybe they are better now?).
10/24/2012 at 12:43 pm #1965336There is a “highway” I drove in Arizona…can’t remember the number…it was a series of mountainside switchbacks. That was scary enough.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto.
10/24/2012 at 5:55 pm #1965338I could put “barn quilts” on the opposite wall and the caches along the path! 😆
10/24/2012 at 6:40 pm #1965339There was even and event there last month (GC3JZNG)! GC3JHW0 is a 2/5 cache that is on the pathway!

Well dang now that is funny. I would not do it for a ammo can, I would not do it for a small, micro 😯 DEFINITELY NOT! 🙄
10/24/2012 at 7:24 pm #1965341The cache container is MAGNETIC!!! I bet no one would steal an ammo can out there.
Changing log sheets must be hell for the CO.
10/27/2012 at 1:56 am #1965342Personally I am thinking if you really want to make this a “challenge” and not just another park and grab, it would have to be a night cache. Don’t you think? 😆
