    Hi Folks
Thanks for all of the pats on the back. There are cachers with much bigger numbers but we thoroughly enjoy each one that we do.

Gotta Run is wondering about our name, a sentence from our Public Profile will explain, and no it is not a hockey move. They could use footage of Sloughfoot ice skating on Americas Funniest Video’s and I would have to change it to “Slewfoot”.
    ** Sloughfoot’s Name **
Team Sloughfoot (pronounced Slewfoot) owns a cottage on a piece of water called “The Big Slough”. You would guess that it had something to do with water.

2008 was pretty much a year off for us as Mrs Sloughfoot’s mother went through a rough period but she is doing well and still likes to go with us when we cache.

2009 has been the year for “maintenance required” we have about 105 active caches including the most found cache in Wisconsin “Dam Pretty View #1 GC79B3. We have been plaqued with thefts in the Dells/Portage area and so have been busy replacing and making those caches members only. I have three that need attention yet again.

But we will keep hiding and finding and enjoying all of the meet & greets and all the fine folks we meet on the trail and I’m sure the numbers will creep up slowly. Everyone have a great end of summer and fall caching experience and keep hitting those Sloughfoot caches.

Congrats, Sloughfoot. If you are ever in my neck of the woods, you should give this cache a try. GC16ZPE

Be sure to set aside a couple hours for this one and bring bug dope.

I think the name is fitting for you 😉
