30 minutes to clear just the end of my driveway after the plows went through…with a snow blower. We got a couple more inches after I last checked…must have about 11 inches now.

I don’t know what Kenosha’s official snowfall totals were for this storm, but measuring in the middle of the lot, we had 10.5 inches to just under 14 inches with snow drifts as high as 39 inches. 😯

Gotta love that lake effect snow. Sheesh I hope we get at least 2 more storms like this yet this spring.

Hope they’re right about the diminished snow “threat” for Thursday. Here’s a photo from a house a block over from us. Does anyone want to do an earthcache on the striations in these snow piles? Act fast!

We were wondering if we wanted to head back over near the 13/21 intersection. Guess that photo tells us “not yet!” We got our fill of that kind of thing up north last weekend!

Those are just the piles where the shoveling and plowing were. We’re seeing lots of bare ground now, but the woods still have plenty of snow. It’s a lot better than it was a couple of weeks ago, though. We just did some caches we were waiting all winter to find. Your knees should stay dry now, but wear your boots!
