Leaving here around 1… but are taking the caching route there. Should be in Bayfield for dinner. See ya all soon.
TE03/06/2010 at 1:07 am #1919324We’re here. Quite a few other folks here at Seagull Bay too. The kids had wireless earlier but my laptop was a no go. Just started working a few minutes ago? Anyway, weather is great and the snow is melting. The candlelight hike is going on right outside the window and we’re about to put on the boots and go for a hike.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
03/06/2010 at 2:44 am #1919325We are here too… with the aid of Mr. TE and Wayward Son… (Sp) they had the guy in the office reset the internet… it was down.
TE03/06/2010 at 2:53 am #1919326That’s what I thought. But both the kids computers- even sitting right next to mine- were able to get internet and email. But, good to have mine working now too. Thought we saw your car out there when we went down to hike the candlelight trail. So, we’re probably about two rooms from each other saying hello here on the forum. Strange world eh?
03/06/2010 at 5:03 am #1919327I’m thinking I can make it up in the morning. Need me bring anything up?
03/06/2010 at 1:24 pm #1919328Sun is up and it looks like a great day for the hike. I stepped outside on the deck in just a sweatshirt a few minutes ago and wasn’t cold. There was a “ting, ting” sound I couldn’t figure out for a few moments until I realized that it was the ropes tinging against the masts of the sailboats down below.
We are starting to second guess whether we have enough chili or not but we have already planned a quick stop at the store down the street to pick up some sandwich stuff just in case. So, all is good and hope to see you there.

03/07/2010 at 1:09 am #1919330Great weather! Wonderful company! Fantastic food at lunch and dinner!! What else could we ask for! Thanks for a terrific day!
TE03/07/2010 at 2:11 pm #1919331Yup,
Somehow we just keep getting perfect days for these things. Logs and photos are coming in from a great day.
03/07/2010 at 3:04 pm #1919332Thank You One Paddle Short for a GREAT TIME! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the great company. Lunch was an added bonus from you guys as well.
03/07/2010 at 7:53 pm #1919333I second what Gramacindy said. Thank you for everything, OPS. Seeing as you do such a great job planning these weekends, I might have you plan vacations for the family. It was nice seeing you all again.
03/07/2010 at 7:58 pm #1919334Thanks to OPS for another fun outing. The chili was awesome. Good to meet up with old friends again. And also make new ones. We could not have asked for better weather for the hike. THANKS !!
03/08/2010 at 1:10 am #1919335Thanks OPS-You must have bribed the weather man for this day. Very nicely done, a great group of people to be out caching with. Funny 6.25 hours there, 10.5 hours home..how does that happen
03/08/2010 at 10:47 pm #1919336Glad everyone had a good time. We sure did. In fact we are thinking about not waiting for next winter to set up the next adventure. Stay tuned for a possible paddle cache outing for the summer. We have some ideas we’re working on…
03/09/2010 at 12:56 am #1919337That sounds right up my alley!!! I hope that there will be kayak lessons included in this idea!??
