With one exception/twist, they are all on-line, with Geochecker.
“Gaylord Nelson” is a ‘multi’, where all the information is obtained ‘on-line’, but only half the answers are verified correct by Geochecker, which then gets you to WP1; the second half of the answers are applied in the field……….best to read the description to better understand – bottom-line on the multi: it’s not scary. Just a word of caution to watchers and would be seekers of the series. I was recently informed, by way of cache notes, that the approval of the series was perhaps a little premature on the part of the Environmental Coordinator at the Y. The expectation was that the caches would be relatively close – not close enough to be discovered by other trail users but close enough to comply with the preserve’s “stay on trail” policy. Apparently some are not and some might be close to “trails” but not the identified trails.
As that individual completes the series, he may have us relocate some of the series finals. If this happens I will work with the cache owners to relocate. I am also going to suggest to the cache owners, all relatively new to the sport, that they DO NOT MODIFY their puzzles! Partially because it is not simple to work with HTML and partially because many may have these solved and are just waiting for an opportunity.
I will suggest new final locations and we will remedy the solve issue by incorporating GEOCHECK solves which will contain the revised “offset” cords within the congratulatory SUCCESS message.
For now, and until you hear otherwise, game on…
