I hate you guys for living in a cache rich area…lol..maybe I should move to West Bend someday – lol.
Think of it as quality, not quantity for where you are, Todd. I get all nervous and shaky when I think about caching in an urban area. 😉
Pros and cons for all caching spots.
06/14/2010 at 2:30 am #1930787Well there are no caches within a mile of my home.
There are 11 within 5 miles, of which I have not found 1 (because it is not there)
There are 31 within 10 miles, still just that one I haven’t found. All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

From our home:
89 caches available within 10 miles, excluding ours
26 left to find within 10 milesOur other circle, Townsend, WI:
62 caches available within 10 miles, excluding ours
29 left to find within 10 milesInteresting topic, I thought we had cleared off more local caches than what an actual search shows. Guess we need to get busier.

Well, boost that number a little bit, geolivestrong can’t stop hiding them! 😀
06/27/2010 at 12:34 am #1930798Hmmm, looks like I’ve been slacking on finding those nearby caches lately… Something to work on this fall after the Ba$h.
From my home coordinates…. I maxed out the Pocket Query on the 20 and 30 mile….
30 mile: over 1000, (>1000 unfound) Wow, that surprises me!
20 mile: over 1000, (644 unfound)
10 mile: 528, (122 unfound)
5 mile: 248, (38 unfound)
1 mile: 22, (0 unfound)06/29/2010 at 2:13 pm #1930799Green Bay area…what I call my reign (or circle) of terror. I haven’t cached in a while, but my numbers still look pretty good. I am only really obsessed about my 5 mile radius. Here are my numbers after 5 miles you see it goes up very quickly.
1 mile – 0 unfound (13 total)
2 miles – 0 unfound (63 total)
3 miles – 8 unfound (131 total)
4 miles – 11 unfound (181 total)
5 miles – 19 unfound (237 total)
10 mile – 83 unfound (427 total)Being a math person, I love all of these stats!! Also within my 5 MILE RADIUS. I only have one puzzle cache unfound (not unsolved, it’s solved)
