Went out to find GC1P72Y today as I had solved the riddle. Found a nice bag of white powder hidden in a tree while we tried to find the cache. When I called 911, I started to give our coords, and decided to just say behind X building we will meet you by the street and take you there. No idea if it was really drugs, but i figured better safe than sorry.
Thats one of my fears doing this, out with the kids and run into a meth lab in the woods. The 2nd one would be getting fingerprinted and booked for the meth lab when they don’t believe I “just found it” hunting for tupperware.
Was out this afternoon researching a new hide I am working on and I saw a plastic bag. I bent over to pick it up and it had a little weight to it. Sure enough, a pipe, a lighter, and a smaller bag with a little bit of m/j left in it. I carried it back to the geomobile, and snapped some pictures while I waited for Ripons Finest to come get it. Officer Henke was glad I picked it up, and I was glad its not out there anymore.
I do have one of the pictures on my blog. http://www.cachebar.blogspot.com
