So When are you arriving?

Ok, i didnt want this to get buried in an older thread, so I created a new one. Sorry. 😛

So when is everyone arrving for the campout on Friday? And along the same line of questioning, how does the “group” thing work? Do we check in at the ranger station and tell them what organization we are with etc…? and how is it decided who goes to which site (site 3 or 4)? Umm, lets see what else…. i’m sure something else will come to mind. 😆 Thanks all.

We’ll be there on Thursday, but we’re not in the group camp. Registration starts at 3:00 on Friday afternoon, and I would imagine that is where you’ll get the info on where you need to be in the group sites.

Don’t worry about stopping at the park office unless you need to get your park sticker. Go straight to the beach shelter to meet up with the WGA. Lots of parking there. You won’t miss the spot.

Will be showing up some time on Friday, we are camping in Waupaca, as all the electric sites were gone at Hartmann, but will only be a few miles away, might even come down on Thursday night depending on how I feel after work.

We will be coming up Friday after work. We got a non-group site, but we are very excited as this is our first “event”. Cant wait to meet everyone.

er, um… I’ll be at a group site and would love to get there and pitch the tent earlier than 3:00 in the aft. (We want at least one campfire hole burned in the tent by noon! KIDDING.)
Would an early arrival be possible or too much stress for the organizers? It’s not a must, I just like getting an earlier rather than later start.
Always gotta be at least one person pushing the ^$&%$ envelope!

Arriving earlier in afternoon with caching buddy salyforth… camping on double site w/ LOST Mom family… likely they will be arriving early in afternoon also. It will take me all afternoon to get the tent set up 😉

I’ll be driving over right after work on Friday, but I’m not camping. Have to be in Auburndale Saturday morning to take the Scouts to Rhinelander.

It’s hard to say when our family will be arriving. My husband’s job is so unpredictable but we will be heading up there whenever he is done with work. We wouldn’t be there before 3. Can’t wait to go to our first geo-campout!

Just put in for half day of work that Friday. So will be arriving around 3:30 but we are not staying at the group site though. we will be staying in the regular camping area with our camper.

We will be up after work on Friday, so it depends on how easily I can slip out of the office.

It’s only a 30-40 minute drive or so for us, but 90% of the fun of the camp-out is….the camping!

I will be coming up with Troop 127 from Appleton. Leaving as a group after school is out. Camping at the grooup site. This will be the first time for some of the Scouts to experience geocaching. Looking forward to a great time!!!
