So where are all those Green Jeeps…

Well, my green jeep was given to someone at the picnic. It was the only jeep I have ever gotten my hands on. Every time I try to pick up a jeep in a cache, it has been taken but not logged as such. One of these days, before I wither and die, I hope to get my hands on a yellow and white one. 😥

We got a Green Jeep and placed it in a cache. 😆 It was picked up, logged and not moved along for almost a month now. 😥 We just found a Green Jeep in a cache in Oak Creek and plan on dropping it in Door County next week. 😛

Ya know… I have 8 jeeps on my trackable list and not one of those was ever actually found by me in a cache. Here’s how I got them:

2 were given to me by cache owners when I found their cache (thanks again MB and bnb!)

3 were given to me at events

2 were part of jeep exchanges with other cachers

1 was sent to me by Groundspeak

While I am glad I was able to get my mitts on these jeeps, it would really be nice to someday actually open a cache box and find one there too.

I found a coin tonight while caching. After logging it I noticed that I only ever got the Yellow Jeep. I swear I had a whit one too. Did I forget to log it??? 😳

I got one in the mail in August and planned on getting it out quickly…. Then my mom begged me for a visit, so I was out of town. Then I caught a cold. Then Little Fishcacher started school. I finally am back on my feet, feeling normal, and I dropped a green jeep off in a cache on Monday.

Then I got home and tried to log it, and couldn’t find the slip of paper I’d written the tracking number on. So there I was with the bin full of recycle paper spread out all over the kitchen trying to find it…. 🙄 I finally did. (Phew!)

I have found a yellow one before, in a cache by Devil’s Lake. I’ve never found a white one ever though. It’s a nice surprise to find something like that.

We have two Green Jeeps we are JUST waiting to get photos for the contest entry prior to dropping! We just handed another one off.. Most of ours were discovered in caches – but we did get a handoff as well!!

My point was – I wanted to share my contest entry for one of them!!

Since we started geocaching we have found:

11 Yellow Jeeps

7 White Jeeps

6 Green Jeeps (2 Were Mailed to us, 3 were found in caches and one was traded for at an event)

Keep searching they will pop up, we just grabbed one today, and will be dropping it soon, Who knows where we will be heading this weekend gotta check the map and plan a destination.

There is one in Nashotah sitting in Darkness GCY6WX right now…but it’s a toughie. There is a person who is close to solving the puzzle though so if you want it you’d better hurry.

Yet another Jeep seems to have disappeared from a cache. Went there (GCP1T0) looking for it and the only other person to write in the log since it was placed didn’t find it either. Do people nore realize they can BUY these jeeps for a few dollars?

We’ve had many Green Jeeps here in Central Wisconsin. In fact there is one a cache right now that I placed a few weeks back and is waiting for someone to claim it. It is located at…Transportation: Eau Claire River Series by One Paddle Short (GCVJ1K)
