There is one in a fairly challenging cache near Verona (10miles SW of Madison) that I put out last weekend.
Actually it is the second Green Jeep I’ve placed there, and is still a coin in there as well.12/03/2006 at 4:13 am #1765580The Green Jeep I placed in 3 Red Herrings was picked up but the cacher left a different Green Jeep in its place. 3 Red Herrings (GCZ4XG)
01/08/2007 at 5:34 am #1765581Green Jeeps are still there! Check The Spare Rib by RickBlick & Chick (GCY2QJ). Or has all of the hysteria surrounding Green Jeeps disappeared? Is everyone waiting for the new Jeeps in the spring?

Phil01/29/2007 at 12:48 am #1765584Green JEEP alert! I am not sure if the excitement over the Jeeps (Green) has fizzled as of late but I will post anyway. I placed a Green Jeep in a cache named… “Marsh to the Philippine Islands” by Lost Boys (GCGNRY) If you haven’t done this cache it is worth the trip.
01/29/2007 at 4:28 am #1765585Heyyyy! You cheated! The crocs go south for the winter and you can walk on the water. Glad to see people still out there doing it though. It’s a great cache.

01/29/2007 at 4:05 pm #1765588Just as when I started this thread, these Jeeps have continued to be ultra scarce locally. Not sure if they all got released this time out or if by dumb luck my area has been kinda a no fly-zone for the buggers….
01/30/2007 at 3:24 am #1765589Lostby7… Sorry that you are having a tough time locating a Green JEEP. WE have had plenty up here in Central Wisconsin. Most cachers in the area (myself included) will usually put them back into a local cache soon after possessing them. I think I have had about 16 different Green Jeeps and a fellow cacher has run into over 20 of them! There still are 3 or 4 within a 25 mile radius of Wausau in caches just waiting for someone like LOSTBY7 to claim them. 😉

I would pay money to see him drive up to Wausau to get a Jeep (oh yeah — that was a challenge Lostby7)

I imagine it is hard to get a jeep into all those micros by you…..Next years model should be the micro variety..
01/30/2007 at 1:27 pm #1765593Hey, a micro micro Jeep would be interesting.
But I hope they pick a decent color!
