Yeah, I had suggested Rib Mountain because I have never been there and it’s a location we haven’t been to before as an organization. But as Ralph (who has been doing most of the legwork and phone calls, bless him) said, they are going to be lacking the required facilites. Perhaps the tearing down of the shelter means they are going to build a bigger, better one that we can use in the future. Hopefully?

Great spot to visit and to cache in. (Wish it had a few more like Slough Gundy, one of my all-time favorites.)

One of my favorite areas too! Just finally conquered Slough Gundy a week or so ago!

Woot!!!! Great pic…..Gotta love a pic of a Hot Chick at a Great Cache.

Took me 2 tries to get Slough Gundy, which is I guess one of the reasons that it is memorable to me. The first time, the water was way to high to get across. The second time, there was not a drop of water in the slough at all. Just a real beautiful area to hike.
